I am glad that you found my site. I hope that something here will inspire you.

I left my previous bio here - you can find it below - although I have done a lot of contemplating on the whole "about me" thing.

This is what I came up with:

  • I am a mother
  • I was a wife
  • I am a widow
  • I am a writer
  • I am a photographer
  • I enjoy helping people
  • I am a lover of nature
  • I am a believer
  • I am a rebel
  • I believe that good does exist despite the media
  • I believe that change is a certainty and we must learn to embrace it
  • Some circumstances are beyond our control
  • It's not that we won't be hurt, it's how we handle the pain
  • I have a wonderful support system in my family and friends
  • All things are possible to for those who believe

I know.. still not a raccoon...

I know.. still not a raccoon...

I work mostly as an independent contractor. Anyone who knows about life in a small town (like the one where I currently reside [by choice!]), also knows that in order to make ends meet, you have to be willing and able to wear many hats, juggling a variety of areas in life, including work.

I have achieved a wide array of knowledge in several fields from doing various things in my life. My main background is administrative – for which I seem to have a weird affiliation. (I swear it is genetic!) I could easily work in an office supply store, because, I am weird like that...  Not to mention I have a sad, pathetic thing for pens. Especially really good pens, that write well and don’t clump. Or odd looking pens that don’t work for diddly squat but make a nice decoration on my desk. Be prepared: I may ask for your pen if it works really well .. at least I am not a pen klepto anymore (wait! don’t ask my family, I don’t know if they would agree.)

I am also blessed to be able to increase my knowledge base in certain areas without too much effort; even some randomly absurd things.

Having said all that; Meican Unlimited was born from my desire to continue to expand my world doing things I enjoy. I believe we are limited only by how we choose to limit ourselves. Honestly, even I know having limits is not a bad thing! Neither is wanting to explore the world around you and investing yourself in learning multiple things as you work your way through life. I was born with a sense of wanderlust; and I think that has had an effect on the way I live my life and enjoy learning.

I  love writing, photography and learning about code. I have invested hours into website design, development and learning about SEO. I am vested in a couple of businesses; and so I gear towards knowing what works for small businesses. Not to mention I am a huge proponent of consumer education.

Saying that, you might notice that I have a number of projects for which I write as author. I write for a variety of blog sites, as well as my own.  I do what I enjoy – research, watching the direction of internet business, trying to keep up -  if not ahead -  of the curve.  It's fun for me, and therefore I do it well.

Currently, I am working to further develop this site in order to continually expand my horizons. I believe that anything IS possible if you are willing to work for it.
