What is a “magic mug”? The mug is black until you pour hot liquid into it. When you pour something hot into it, it reveals the information underneath. It DOES NOT work with cold liquids.
One of the reasons I like the magic mug, is because it allows you to know the temperature in the cup just by looking at it. If it is solid white, all the way to the top and the edges of the handle are white, it means the liquid is extremely hot. As the liquid begins to cool down, the color changes slowly back toward the black. You can learn to tell when something is your perfect temperature for drinking depending on the color. (This requires experimentation from you, as the “perfect” temperature various from person to person.)
Who doesn't love a good surprise? With this color changing coffee mug, you're definitely in for a great one. This mug has a black matte finish when it's empty. But when it comes into contact with a hot beverage, the mug reveals a beautiful print that'll always make you smile when having your drink of choice.

Note that in some instances the coating might not be 100% opaque and an outline of the design might peek through a little. Also, you shouldn't put the mugs in a microwave or dishwasher since it can damage the coating.
